Made camp, made dinner, all is well. I hiked about 17 miles today – I am happy with this since I started later than usual. I am camping by myself and enjoying making mistakes without other eyes to see. God is so faithful!!
John& I are on a map of the AT right now trying to figure out where you might be…praying and praising God on your behalf 🙂
Prayers go up for a safe trip
awesome, Dad. Good first day!
So proud of you Uncle D! Love you
Congrats! Welcome to the trail! Is that a one man fly creek ul? That’s what I’m lying in this very moment. Will I possibly get to meet you at Trail Days? – Pilgrim
Looking forward to following your journey from my armchair in Perth, Western Australia. All the best for the miles ahead!
Dave, your name will be at the top of daily pages in my devotion journal to remind me to pray for you! I will watch your sight for specific prayer needs. Kathy G.
17 miles! What a great start! Yay for no embarrassing peering eyes, haha.
