Entering the Shenandoah National Park

June 22 @ 1:25 pm
I left Waynesboro at 8:15 thanks to a Trail Angel who gave me a ride to the trail head (Roy was his name). It is a foggy and damp day but no rain drops to dodge.

I entered the Shenandoah National Park just north of Waynesboro. It has been a great morning so far. I have reflected on some of the names of Jesus this morning (like Lamb of God, Lion of Judah, King of kings, Good Shepherd, the Resurrection and the Life, etc). I find this so worshipful because of the incredible nature of Jesus – the God/Man.

By 1:00 the fog has lifted and the sun is glorious. The views this morning were almost zero but this afternoon they are special. The photo below is from Sawmill Run – one of the best views of the Shenandoah Mt.
