Highest Point in Massachusetts

I made it to Mt. Greylock today (August 6), the highest point in MA. The views are absolutely spectacular (attached are a few samples from the summit). I have really enjoyed MA – it has been a bit muddy and the trail often has boardwalks (although sometimes the sloppy path is impossible to avoid). I took a zero day in Dalton, MA yesterday and rested.

I hope to be in Vermont by the end of the day tomorrow. Vermont has about 150 miles of the AT and is supposed to be beautifully challenging.
