Vermont is Beautiful

My hike started out this morning (Aug 9) with a beautiful pond (still looking for the moose), then I climbed the highest mountain in Southern Vermont (Stratton Mt) and took a trip up the fire tower on top, then hiked down to Stratton Pond for another unsuccessful moose hunt. I have ended the day on Prospect Rock (mile 1642.3) for a little over 20 mile trek. I hope to get a photo of the sunset from the rock – it should be great. If it is I will post a shot tomorrow. Hopefully the photos below will let you see some of the beauty of this state.

Praying for your continued health, safety, faith journey and experience. It’s such a blessing to continually read your posts month after month. It’s truly inspirational what God and you have accomplished, day after day. Glory to Him who will finish it with you and what He will use this all for. Shine On Dave!
