September 4 – Andover,Maine

We hiked over Moody Mountain this morning and are taking an afternoon rest in Andover ME. My body was screaming at me to take a break. We are staying at The Cabin run by a wonder couple (Honey & Bear). We are doing laundry, taking a shower, and relaxing. We will be headed to the Country Store in a little while to resupply.
Since cell phone coverage has been so frustrating for the last few days let me catch you up with a summary and several pictures to paint the adventure.

We have hiked over 1900 miles (as of today I am at 1938.5). We crossed over the border leaving NH behind and embracing ME.

We made it through Mahoosuc Notch and up and over Mahoosuc Arm – both of which were incredible strenuous. Maine is a beautiful state but the trail makes you earn every mile.
